Before you can start building your conservatory you need to prepare the site and dig out foundations.
Is everything straight?
Start by checking the back of the house for plumb, and for any protrusions such as rendering or feature bricks, and make allowance for this when measuring conservatory projection.
Digging foundations
You will need to dig foundations and an prepare an insulated floor - download our pdf advice sheets showing recommended cross-section drawings for dwarf wall and cross-section drawings for full height conservatories. Please note foundation depths are given as guidelines only - you will need to take local soil conditions into account when deciding depth required.
Steel bases
